Matthew Äikäs-Adams has spent 16+ years helping companies and leaders communicate with impact. He is currently Head of Global Culture & Engagement at Georg Fischer, working at the intersection of leadership behavior, employee experience, and internal communications. His work focuses on helping leaders communicate clearly and consistently in ways that build trust and increase engagement.
Originally from Scotland, Matthew spent the first half of his career in the UK, working exclusively in marcomms teams across a range of industries. In 2018, he moved to Finland and made the switch to internal comms and HR – or as he calls it: ”switched from products to people”. Having worked for the likes of Metso, Ahlstrom, and Business Finland, he continues to teach the power of communication fundamentals in ways that employees, leaders, teams and companies can all benefit from.
